Sen. Barinada Mpigi, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Works, and Hon. Akin Alabi, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Works, highlighted the urgency of the situation during an inspection tour of infrastructure projects alongside Minister of Works, David Umahi.
As reported, lawmakers stressed that the magnitude of the infrastructure deficits requires innovative solutions beyond conventional approaches, as the financial resources needed for infrastructure development far exceed annual budgetary allocations.
