Microsoft has unveiled plans to globally unbundle its Microsoft 365 and Office 365 subscription services, excluding Teams.
This decision comes after Microsoft’s agreement to offer Office 365 without Teams in the EU and Switzerland last year, following complaints from rivals like Slack.
By separating Teams from the suite, Microsoft aims to address concerns about unfair advantage and provide more flexibility to customers.
Existing customers will have the option to maintain their bundled packages or choose new offerings tailored to their needs, while new customers can access standalone pricing for Teams and various Office packages.
