Kwara garment factory to generate two thousand Jobs

The garment factory project embarked upon by Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s administration is to generate Two Thousand direct jobs in the State when operational

Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, mallam Rafiu Ajakaye dropped this hint today while participating in the Thirty-Seventh edition Media Parliament organized by t Kwara State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, in Ilorin, the State Capital

He said the value chains, apart from indirect jobs such as the new businesses and services would spring up in the axis as the factory is ready, and applications have since been taken for different cadres of workers.

Mallam Ajakaye explained that the garment Industry would soon start to sew ready-made clothes on an industrial scale to be sold locally and elsewhere, with corresponding benefits to the state.

The Governor’s publicist allayed the fears of Kwarans that the emergence of Governor Abdulrazaq Chairman Nigerian Governors Forum would not affect smooth running out of the state
