Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has expressed dismay over the substandard implementation of the State Ramadan Feeding Programme, raising concerns about the quality and quantity of food distributed to beneficiaries.
During an unannounced inspection visit to a feeding center in the Municipal Local Government Area, Governor Yusuf voiced his frustration at the perceived shortcomings in the execution of the program.
He criticized the food being cooked and packaged for distribution, describing it as “nonsense” and questioning the materials used in its preparation.
Expressing suspicion of sabotage in the exercise, Governor Yusuf demanded accountability and transparency in the utilization of public resources allocated for the initiative. He emphasized the importance of adhering to approved standards and ensuring that beneficiaries receive meals that meet the established criteria.
