Alan Fisher, an Irish restaurant owner and chef based in Japan, on Monday broke two Guinness World Records relating to cooking marathons. Fisher cooked continuously for 119 hours 57 minutes, surpassing the previous record of 93 hours 11 minutes set by Nigerian Chef Hilda Baci earlier this year.
He also broke the record for the longest baking marathon, baking for 47 hours and 21 minutes, beating the prior record of 31 hours and 16 minutes.
Reacting on her social media page, Hilda Baci described Fisher’s win as a huge achievement and congratulated him, wishing him all the best as the new world record holder.
