The Lebanese group says it launched drone attacks on two Israeli bases in retaliation for the killing of two of its fighters.
In a statement by the group, Hezbollah launched “a combined air attack using decoy and explosive drones that targeted” two Israeli bases north of the city of Acre.
It added that it was “in response” to the Israeli drone attack earlier which killed Hussein Azqul, who was with Hezbollah’s air defence unit in southern Lebanon.
Muhammad Attiya, a Radwan Force member, was another member killed in an overnight attack near the town of Arzon, according to the Israeli military.
The attack marks Hezbollah’s deepest into Israeli territory since the Gaza war began.
