Head coach of the Flying Eagles, Ladan Bosso, has expressed confidence in his team’s readiness for their upcoming clash against Uganda in the Africa Games 2023.
Speaking at a news conference, Bosso highlighted the discipline and readiness of his players, as well as the importance of support from Nigerian fans in Ghana.
The match, scheduled for the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, March 8th by 8pm, marks the beginning of the tournament for Nigeria’s Under-20 squad.
Bosso, who has included familiar names like Daniel Bameyi, Daniel Daga, and Nathaniel Nwosu in his squad, emphasised their thorough preparation for the competition.
“We have prepared a lot for this competition,” Bosso told a press conference.
“The players are disciplined and ready for action.We are not only counting on the talents of the players but also the support of the Nigerians living here in Ghana to encourage and support the boys.”
The Flying Eagles aim to improve on their previous performance, aiming for gold after finishing as runners-up in the previous edition.
