The Head Coach of the Flying Eagles, Ladan Bosso, has come under fire as Nigerians on Twitter have continued to react to the loss of the national Under-20 men’s team to The Gambia.
On Monday, the seven-time African champions failed to reach the finals of the ongoing Under-20 AFCON in Egypt after they suffered a 0-1 loss to the imperious Young Scorpions of The Gambia.
Therefore, most of the disappointed Nigerian football fans are calling for the head of the Bosso who doubles as the president of Nigerian Football Coaches Association.
Their calls for his sack are coming less than two months to the 2023 FIFA Under-20 World Championship in Indonesia where Nigeria, Senegal, The Gambia and Tunisia will be representing the continent of Africa.
