Three individuals lost their lives in a road crash along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State on Saturday night.
The accident occurred near Conoil Filling Station at approximately 9:23 pm, involving 18 people, including 16 male adults and two female adults.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) confirmed the tragic incident through a statement by its spokesperson in Ogun, Florence Okpe, on Saturday night.
Okpe revealed that the crash resulted in seven injuries, with three fatalities. The vehicles involved were identified as a Toyota Hiace bus and a trailer.
In response to the tragic incident, the Sector Commander of the FRSC in Ogun, Anthony Uga, urged motorists to exercise caution during this period characterized by high vehicular movement and poor visibility due to weather conditions.
