In a solemn ceremony marking the 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day, President Bola Tinubu led a host of dignitaries in laying wreaths at the National Arcade, Eagle Square, Abuja.
As reported by RoyalTimes, President Tinubu, accompanied by all service chiefs, including Chief of Defence Staff Gen Christopher Musa, participated in the ceremony to honor the sacrifices made by the country’s military personnel.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio expressed the commitment of the lawmakers to enhancing the welfare of Nigeria’s military personnel. He assured that concerted efforts would be made to address the welfare needs of the armed forces, recognizing the pivotal role they play in safeguarding the nation’s security and territorial integrity.
Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on Monday thanked the security agencies for their excellent roles in special operations in some parts of the state.
