Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has announced that the team’s training session on Thursday evening will be done in complete privacy without the presence of reporters and fans to enable the team concentrate and strategize ahead of Saturday’s AFCON 2019 Round of 16 clash with defending champions Cameroon in Alexandria.
According to official information on the Nigerian team’s Twitter platform today, the Eagles’ training session today and Friday evening will be open to the media for the first 15 minutes, from five thirty pm each day.
The Super Eagles and the Indomitables last faced each other during the qualifiers for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia with Nigeria winning the home and away game in Yaounde.
The winner of the Saturday’s clash will face the winner between Egypt and South Africa in a quarter-final match on the tenth of july at Cairo International Stadium.
