Embattled sacked chairman of the House Committee on Appropriation Honourable Abdulmumin Jibrin on Monday said the residences of most lawmakers in the country are used for hosting parties with prostitutes.
The lawmaker who is on a 180 days suspension made this disclosure via his Twitter account, accusing Speaker Yakubu Dogara and Deputy Speaker Yusuf Lasun of collecting N500m to rent houses.
He wrote, “On day 88 of Dogara Gate: At a time of recession when Members of House and ministers collect a paltry sum per annum for rent of official house.
“It was in delivering part of the illicit money that the criminal Hon Hembe stole part of the money that spark a fight between him and Lasun.
“Billions has been stolen over the years in name of providing official house and guest houses that are often used for parties with prostitutes.”
