Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State on Tuesday disclosed that President Bola Tinubu has intervened in the rift between the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, and Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara.
He stated this while briefing State House Correspondents after a meeting of the National Police Council presided over by Tinubu at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Mohammed said Tinubu is discussing with Wike and Fubara, adding that it appeared there would be peace with his intervention.
According to Mohammed Tinubu doused the political tension in Rivers State as his administration supported both Peoples Democratic Party PDP and All Progressive Congress APC.
In his words, “President Tinubu has shown that he is President for PDP and APC. We are going to work with him.”
