Nigerian football talents Terem Moffi and Moses Simon have been nominated for the prestigious Marc-Vivien Foe Award in France, recognizing the best African player in the French top-flight league.
Terem Moffi, who has showcased exceptional skill with Nice, has scored 10 goals in 23 league appearances this season. Moses Simon demonstrated his prowess with Nantes before sustaining an injury during international duty last month.
Despite his season-ending setback, Simon’s remarkable performance, including three goals and six assists in 22 league appearances, earned him a spot among the nominees.
Vincent Enyeama and Victor Osimhen are the only Nigerian players to have clinched the Marc-Vivien Foe Award in the past. Alongside Moffi and Simon, nine other African players are vying for the coveted award.
