Subsidy Removal: Trade Union Congress Knocks Politicians, Urges Government To Make More Sacrifices For Masses

The President of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), Festus Osifo has knocked government officials over the use of endless convoys despite the effects of fuel subsidy removal on the masses.

Speaking to newsmen, the TUC president said government officials, despite the effect of the fuel scarcity, have not demonstrated cost reduction as they still go about with “endless convoys.

While calling on politicians and the elite to make more sacrifices that will benefit the masses of the country, Comrade Osifo decried the cost of governance while drawing attention to the dwindling capital expenditure.
