Kwara United head coach, Kabiru Dogo blamed Doma United’s time wasting antics for Wednesday’s stalemate in Ilorin.
Dogo said the result was a big setback for his side as the Harmony Boys were held to a 0-0 draw by the visitors.
“The referee, I think, was too lenient with the visitors despite wasting too much time. In the first half alone, we played less than 30 minutes, as their players were falling all around the field. That’s negative football. And again, the pitch is not smooth enough for us to fully execute our well known philosophy, but we will continue to work hard to achieve the set objectives for the season.” He said.
The head coach stated that the pitch was not smooth enough for his team to fully execute a well-known philosophy, but would continue to work hard to achieve the set objectives for the season.
Kwara United are unbeaten in their last five NPFL games. The Ilorin club will host Niger Tornadoes in their next game.
