The Nigerian Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has said that the operations of the Armed Forces in the past week have resulted in the killing of more than one hundred and eighty terrorists, the arrest of two hundred and four others and the rescue of two hundred and thirty-four kidnapped victims.
According to the Director of Defence Media Operations, Edward Buba, in a statement on Friday, the operations involved land and air interdictions across the theatres of operation.
Buba also said the troops recovered forty-six assorted weapons and one hundred and forty-eight assorted ammunition, comprising thirty AK47 rifles, two Josef Magnum pump action guns, one double barrel gun and two single barrel guns.
