Nigeria Labour Congress To Meet Tinubu On 65-Year Retirement Age

The Nigeria Labour Congress is set to reportedly engage President Bola Tinubu on the agitation for extension of civil servants’ retirement age to  sixty-five years.

The National President, NLC, Joe Ajaero on Sunday reportedly said that labour was not relenting on the agitation, which started under the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari.

When asked on Sunday if labour would meet with president Tinubu on the matter, the NLC President confirmed the plan to meet with the president, stating few other establishments, including the core civil service, have not established the sixty-five-year-old retirement age.
