Liverpool’s midfielder Thiago Alcantara faces another setback following a muscle injury suffered during the match against Arsenal.
The 32-year-old, returning after a hiatus due to a hip problem, had to exit the game as a late substitute due to the newly sustained injury.
With his contract expiring in the summer, the midfielder’s future with the club remains uncertain.
Since his transfer from Bayern Munich in 2020, Thiago has struggled with frequent injuries, adding to Liverpool’s midfield concerns.
Manager Jurgen Klopp also faces the possibility of missing Dominik Szoboszlai and Mohamed Salah due to hamstring issues.
