Nigerian midfielder Alhassan Yusuf has declared himself fit and ready for action in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) quarter-finals.
Yusuf suffered a thigh injury during Nigeria’s initial match against Equatorial Guinea, forcing him to miss subsequent group stage encounters against Cote d’Ivoire and Guinea-Bissau.
The Royal Antwerp star however made a return to the bench for the Super Eagles’ Round of 16 clash against Cameroon.
Yusuf would hope to be in action as the Super Eagles prepare to face the Black Antelopes of Angola in the quarter-finals at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan this Friday.
