Former Super Falcons forward, Desire Oparanozie, has assured that the team has no fear regarding their group stage opponents Spain, Japan, and Brazil at the 2024 Olympic Games.
Reacting to the challenge, Oparanozie expressed confidence in the Super Falcons’ ability to progress from Group C.
According to her, she has strong faith in the team, adding that the Super Falcons possess the talent and determination to impress at the Olympics and make the nation proud.
“It’s a tough group, Spain are world champions, Japan were previous world champions and Brazil are a household name in the game,” Oparanozie said.
“But I believe in the team, we will do well at the Olympics, the girls will show what they are made up, they will make themselves proud.”
Nigeria was able to clinch a spot in the prestigious tournament following a triumph over South Africa, and now the Super Falcons are slated to commence their Paris 2024 campaign against Brazil.
