Foreign investments in Nigeria’s manufacturing industry went up by six hundred and forty-four million dolars in 2023 to one point five billion dollars from the prior year, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
The NBS in its capital importation report stated that manufacturing ranked first as the sector with the most investments while the banking and finance sectors came a distant second and third as the sectors that made up the top three investment magnates.
Foreign investments to Nigeria also shrank to three point eight billion dollars from the five point four billion dollars recorded in 2022.
