The Kwara State Caretaker Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alh. Abdullahi Samari has submitted the state chapter’s memorandum to the Tahir Mamman led National Constitution Review Committee at the party’s national secretariat, Abuja.
RoyalTimes gathered that the memorandum was received by the Head of Department, Barr. Dare Oketade, on behalf the committee’s chairman, Prof Tahir Mamman (SAN).
It will be recalled that state chapters had earlier been communicated to collate memoranda from party members who seek amendment to the Party’s current constitution.
The Kwara State working committee had promptly inaugurated a committee to collate opinions, proposals and memoranda, with Chief Titus Olasupo Ashaolu (SAN), Barr. Ayinla Salman Jawondo, Chief. Iyiola Akogun Oyedepo, Alhaji. Mohammed Mustapha, Barr. Modupe Folashade Adejumo, Mrs.Zainab Haruna, Barr. Ladi Mustapha, Barr. Aliyu Alhassan, making up the Committe.
The committee had sprung to action and issued a call for memoranda on radio and online mediums across the state and the state’s memorandum have now been presented to the National committee.
