The Kwara State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has said the reappoinment of Rafiu Ajakaye as Chief Press Secretary to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is a product of hard work, dedication and demonstration of utmost professionalism in the discharge of the duties of his office in the last four years.
The council noted that it is gratifying that Ajakaye, with a colossal experience in the field of journalism, set an enviable record in the management of Governor’s media.
This was contained in a joint statement issued in Ilorin today by the Chairman, State Council of NUJ, Abdullateef ‘Lanre Ahmed and Secretary, Omotayo Ayanda. The NUJ recalled that the reappointed CPS also helped in forming a bulwark around the media team of Governor AbdulRazaq through his insatiable quest for innovation and encouragement of new ideas.
The NUJ also congratulated Ajakaye for being a good ambassador of the union and prayed to Almighty God to be his guide and guard in the tasks ahead of him.
