Commercial Intercourse Workers have lamented the impact of fuel subsidy stating that the removal of subsidy has grossly affected them as workers now witness low patronage in Kano State.
The commercial intercourse workers while speaking with newsmen in Kano state on Sunday expressed their pains, stating that they now resort to lobbying customers to do “business” with them at very ridiculous low charges.
Mercy Benjamin, while speaking to journalists stated that a round of “short time” service could be settled with five thousand naira within a time frame of one hour, but noted that the biting effects of fuel subsidy removal had forced customers to disappear.
Benjamin said one round of intercourse now goes for as low as between five hundred and seven hundred naira for the same services.
