As secondary and primary school schools resume today in Kwara state, teachers have urged students to take their academic activities seriously and ensure promotion to the next class.
Speaking with Royaltimes correspondent, Opeyemi Akeredolu today, a secondary school teacher, Vitoria Odejobi, who teaches at Etafaith Comprehensive College,Ita-alamu area advised the students to stay determined and be focused in order to have great results.
“I advise all students across the state to take their academic activities serious, they should avoid all forms of distraction, focus, work hard and also be determined in order to get a good result at the end of the term”
However, Olufunke Olusegun, a teacher at Debbis Model Schools, Olulande, admonished parents to ensure their children are prepared and support the teachers in training their children academically.
“I want admonish all parents to prepared their children for the resumption by making sure all the stationaries are ready, they should also assist the teacher in making sure that their children are serious with academic activities”
Meanwhile, Emmanuel Oludare urged the students to be serious with their academic activities to gain promotion to the next class.
“I want to advice students to take note of their academic work, knowing that they have being on break for some weeks now, they should not take their academic with levity this term being the third term where all what they have learn will be put to test. Whenever they have any difficulty, they should walk up to their teachers”
