A huge Russian airstrike has destroyed a humanitarian convoy in southern Ukraine leaving twenty-three civilians dead and twenty-eight wounded.
The Zaporizhzhia regional governor, Oleksandr Starukh said they were on their way to distribute aid to those living under Russian occupation and to try and get their relatives out.
However, a senior adviser to President Zelensky, Kyrylo Tymoshenko said Russia had fired a total of sixteen S-300 anti-aircraft missiles at Ukrainian territory, four of which landed – destroying the queue of cars along with a nearby car market.
The missile took place hours before President Putin gives a speech which he announced Zaporizhzhia – along with three other regions – are being annexed to Russia under the guise of protecting them.
