Woman bags 98 years for stealing from bank

A former official of First Bank, Oreoluwa Adesakin, has been handed a cumulative 98-year jail term by Justice Muniru Olagunju of the Oyo State High Court for fraud.

Adesakin was found to have defrauded the bank of N49,320,652.32 and additional $368,203.

She was prosecuted by the Ibadan Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), on 14-count charges, bordering on stealing, forgery and fraudulent accounting
