As today, marks one hundred and nine days in office of the vice chancellor of the university of ilorin, Professor Wahab Egbewole, SAN as the 11th Vice-Chancellor, the vice chancellor has identified team work as a strong pillar to continuing building magnificently on the solid foundation laid by founding fathers of the institution.
He noted that he has since set to work and put a team, Unilorin Greatness Team, together which include the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Prof. Abayomi Omoteso and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Management Services), Prof. Sulaiman Ambali as well as the Provost of the College of Health Sciences and Chairmen of important committees and organs of the University.
According to him , there is no standstill or cessation of activities; there is no frustration or discouragement for the team in Unilorin as all staff have all resolved to take the University to where it deserves.
He said the team recorded achievement which include , MOU signed with Tunil University in Italy, School of Oriental and African Studies , University of London, Summit University, Offa, seventy five million naira award by JAMB paid for tarring GRA Quarters Road Piloting Unilorin.
