Unilorin registrar set to key into digitization drive

The Registrar of the University of Ilorin, Mr Mansur Alfanla, has expressed his readiness to key into the digitization drive of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Wahab Egbewole, SAN.

Mr Alfanla also announced his plan to ensure that all official correspondences in the

University are sent, received, and treated via electronic mail.

The Registrar, who disclosed this during a meeting with Registry staff on levels 11 to 13 at the Auditorium Basement, also hinted that he will be proposing that computer-based tests be adopted in promotion exams for Registry staff to ensure that results are seen immediately.

While soliciting the cooperation of the officers present at the meeting, he acknowledged the support extended to him by the Deputy Registrars whom he said have pledged to work with him to take the University to greater heights.

As reported by our senior  correspondent olarotimi oshin,  the registrar  urged the officers to continue to exhibit a high level of professionalism in the discharge of their duties while shunning unprofessional conducts like resuming late to their duty posts.
