 Two Die, Four Rescued In Lagos Tanker Accident

A fatal accident involving a tanker and four tricycles fondly called Keke claimed the lives of two persons on Tuesday at the Ikotun area of Lagos State. According to information gathered, the accident occurred around 12:30 pm today.

Operatives of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority rescued four victims inside the tricycles while a tricycle driver and one passenger died instantly.

According to a statement by LASTMA Director of Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department, Adebayo Taofiq, the four rescued accident victims were two pregnant women and two children.

LASTMA personnel immediately handed over those rescued victims to policemen from Ikotun Police Station who took them to General Hospital for treatment.
