Troops neutralize four bandits in Kaduna community, recover AK 47

The Kaduna State Government has confirmed that troops of Operation Forest Sanity have neutralized four bandits during clearance operations in identified hideouts around Tsohon Gayan, Chikun LGA.

According to the state Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs- Samuel Aruwan, in a statement to reporters on Sunday that the troops who pursued some of the fleeing bandits, engaged them killing two bandits in the process while credible sources added revealed that two others died from gunshot wounds.

He said two of the four neutralized have been identified as Dogo Mallam and Bello Mallam, and noted that troops recovered one AK47 rifle, one magazine with 22 rounds of ammunition and one motorcycle.

Aruwa said Governor Nasir El-Rufai, expressed satisfaction at the report, and praised the troops for their resilience and courage in the latest success.
