Tinubu to CAN: I seek to be President not on religious grounds

Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has promised to protect all religious interests if elected. He assured that all faiths and religions will be well treated based on the principles of equity, fairness and justice.

He gave the assurance on Wednesday during an interaction with leaders of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Abuja.

The Nation reports that the former Lagos Governor said his political career has been characterized by great respect and projects for Christian interests.
