The Director of the Lagos State Fire Service, Rasaki Musibau, and six others have been kidnapped along Epe-Itokin road, in Ikorodu.

The Director of the Lagos State Fire Service, Rasaki Musibau, and six others have been kidnapped along Epe-Itokin road, in Ikorodu.

The Lagos State Police Command’s spokesman, Bala Elkana, confirmed the incident in a statement issued on Sunday, noting that investigations into the matter are already underway. He assured the family of the victims that the command would leave no stone unturned in ensuring that the victims are rescued unhurt.

Meanwhile the State Commissioner of Police, Zubairu Muazu, has tasked the command’s anti-kidnapping unit to ensure that they rescue the seven persons.

The Commissioner of Police in company of the Tactical Units Commanders visited the crime scene in the early hours of Sunday and recovered Toyota Sienna, a Toyota Corolla and an Opel Jeep from the scene of the incident.
