Sudan: Nigeria To Commence Second Phase Of Evacuation On Saturday

Although the first batch of Nigerian evacuees from Sudan are yet to arrive, the Nigerian embassy in Sudan said the second phase of evacuation will commence on Saturday.

The embassy instructed interested persons to converge at Al-Razi University and the International University of Africa, Madani Street on Saturday morning. The Embassy further asked citizens willing to return to come with one bag only.

It could be recalled that the first phase of the evacuation of Nigerians from troubled Sudan started on Wednesday when thirteen buses conveying the first batch of the evacuees to Egypt.
