Students across Kwara state have been enjoined to be more focused and dedicated to their academic pursuits so as to make them a rare gem in their future academic excellence.
Speaking at St. Anthony Secondary school, Ilorin, where sports and educational materials worth several millions of naira were donated to schools in the state , the chairman and founder of Gbenga Power Foundation, Honourable Gbenga Power said the donation was part of efforts to support education and sport development in kwara state.
Gbenga Power said, the donation was done across schools in the state in order to tap young talented athletes in schools and to enhance their educational attainments.
He recalled that, the foundation had given scholarships to some students across the 16 local government councils of the state so as to advance education in the state.
While calling on other sports philanthropists in the state to come out to join hands with the new governor, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq in the task of moving sports forward,
