Harmony Investment and Property Development Company (HIPDC), and its sub unit, Harmony Ventures, and Supplies Limited (HVSL), today staged a peaceful protest, calling on Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq to remove them from Harmony Holdings Limited over allegations of mismanagement by the GMD, Abdulmajeed Abdullahi.
The staffs in their numbers who took over the office located at Fate Road Ilorin explained that they have been allegedly denied financial packages to serve as take home in case of retirement, yearly basic salary, bailout during Covic,19 from the Government among others.
Speaking in an interview, the protesters alleged that their retirement benefits among others have not been remitted in the last four years and lamented that Harmony Holdings is not business oriented and that it lacks focus; pleading with the state government to take them to the relevant ministry for effectiveness.
The GMD of Harmony Holdings, Abdulahi Abdulmajeed in his reaction said his office will react to all the allegations at the appropriate time.
It is recalled that staff of Kwara Hotel also protested recently.
