Speaker Danladi, Yinka Aluko host ASKOMP, Seek Support for Abdulrazaq Govt

The Speaker Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Yakubu Danladi and the Special Adviser Special Duties to Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Yinka Aluko have solicited support for Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq led administration.

The duo made this call while hosting members of Association of Kwara State Online Media Practitioners (ASKOMP) to Iftar as part of Ramadan activities and youth engagement.

Yakubu Danladi in his address on Wednesday charged youth and other kwarans to support Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq led administration, noting that all hands must be on deck to build a better and prosperous Kwara.

The Speaker said OTOGE Liberation Struggle has changed political landscape of the state which Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq is using to deliver dividends of democracy across 16 local government areas.

On Thursday, Yinka Aluko while addressing ASKOMP members during Iftar at his GRA Ilorin Residence acknowledged contribution of the media, especially Online Media to success of OTOGE revolution in the state.

He however urged them to continue to support the ideals of OTOGE Revolution which emphasizes the political freedom of thestate, noting that Kwara has witnessed fresh breathe under Abdulrazaq administration

In his reaction, the Acting Chairman of ASKOMP which the umbrella body for professional Online Media Practitioners in Kwara State said the Association was established in 2019 to sanitise the profession and create platform for peer review in order to improve performance.

He promised that the association will continue to uphold journalism ethics and prevent spread of fake news.
