Shiver to the North Pole

written by Samuel Etuk February 8, 2018
Shiver to the North Pole

So i walked into Hausa Twitter and saw their tweets on child marriage, here’s the link ladunliadinews.com/…/what-people-are-saying-on-hausa-twitte…

Have anyone realized that this child marriage is tilted to one side? It’s actually girl child marriage not child marriage.

Because it would have been fair to look at if a 13yr old boy married a 13yr old girl. But no it’s a 40yr old with penis the size of her hand.

I understand betrothal. Even the wealthy engage in this. But they only give out in marriage after the child has returned from Oxford university with her second degree. Not when she’s trying to pass common entrance. Can we see the pattern here?

If you are poor in Nigeria, your own has finished but if you are poor in northern Nigeria, your generation’s own has finished. Once a Hausa woman starts having children, they start saving and making financial provisions for their daughters. To protect them.

In the north, have heard of wealthy divorced women that took their daughters along. Those girls were doing a lot better than most girls still living with their fathers.

Even the ones that weren’t divorced, lived in their own apartments with their daughters because if you mistakenly stroll out while your father was discussing politics or oil well with his friend. You might be married in another 5 days.

So the women usually keep their daughters away and would rather serve meals and all. Until they are ready.

So saying early marriage prevents fornication is like asking “what was she wearing?” In a rape case.

Quote me anywhere, there is a high rate of fornication/adultery in northern Nigeria.

Someone that married you at 12, will he still be sexually attracted to you when you are 30?

Fornication is neither a culture, a race nor a religion. For this naija wey we dey? Any where you live in Nigeria, you will fornicate with the people living there. Be it Zamfara or Enugu

If you are a pedophile, be it with your chest. Don’t come and claim to be cleansing the world.

People that shuddered for “Uncle stop touching“ did you exhaust the shuddering?? You could have at least saved some for this child marriage insanity…Only God knows what you will do now…Shiver to the North Pole maybe🙄
