Shell evacuates staff from its facility following attacks on Chevron oil platform

Following last week’s attack on Chevron oil platform in Delta state by The Avengers Niger Delta militants, Royal Dutch Shell corporation evacuated 98 key personnel staff from its production facility, Eja OML 79 this past weekend.Oil rig

Shell evacuation was carried out by three helicopters. The Eja OML 79 produced 90,000 barrels of oil per day.
