Senate Set to Screen acting Chief Justice of Nigeria- Justice Olukayode ARIWOOLA

The Senate will tomorrow screen the acting Chief Justice of Nigeria- Justice Olukayode ARIWOOLA on Wednesday.

Senate President, Ahmad LAWAN, disclosed this in his address of welcome to Senators from their Annual Summer Recess during plenary today.

He said the Senate will also amongst other things, work on the Medium Term Expenditure Framework/Fiscal Strategy Paper 2023 – 2025, Budget 2023, and work to support-defence and security forces of the country.

According to Lawan, the nation’s economy “is still challenged” and stressed the need for the National Assembly and the Executive to continually seek better responses to the economic situation.

He advised senators to focus on ensuring a secured and safe country and an economy that works for all citizens.
