The aspiration of the immediate past Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki to seek for the number one position in Nigeria continues to gather momentum as people of Magaji-Nngeri constituency in Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara state pledged their loyalty to him as well as their support for his aspiration.
The group reiterated their unalloyed loyalty during a courtesy visit to the State Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Rasaq Lawal in his office on Wednesday.
The PDP Vice Chairman, Ilorin West LGA, Alhaji Abdullahi Yusuf Olashehu commended the party leadership for the task embarked so far towards rescuing Kwara from the and prayed God to continue to strengthen the party to be victorious in the coming elections.

Also speaking, former Special Assistant, Water Resources, Alhaji Biodun Baraje, noted that the democratic style of Saraki has not only ensured the people’s choice prevail, but has popularized the PDP the more in Kwara.
The former women leader, Alhaja Muslimat IyanKwara, charged members to work with the new state executive members for the uplift of the party.
She also asked the party to do more towards women inclusion in order to convince the women folks of the party’s commitment to the women agenda.
One of the PDP youth leaders at the gathering, Imam Larongbe in his own contribution emphasized youth inclusiveness in the party elective positions come 2023.
He commended the PDP leadership for anchoring the e-registration project on youths and urged them to continue the gesture in a bid to give the youths a sense of belonging.
In his response, Lawal expressed gladness at the massive support.
“Today is one of the happiest moments ever since I resumed duty as the PDP State Secretary in Kwara State. What we have here today is quality and quantity from Magaji-Nngeri. I give thanks to God Almighty and appreciate your support and commitments for the Saraki political structure,” Lawal said.
He urged party faithful to intensify effort on INEC Voters registration exercise and PDP membership e-registration as the main tool to reclaim power both at the state and at the national level from what he called the ineptitude APC government.
Lawal also charged party members on forgiveness and genuine reconciliation, just as he advised them to put 2019 behind and fully prepare for the battle ahead in the 2023 elections.
He said, “PDP and indeed Kwarans cannot afford to continue with this cluelessness under Gov. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq.
“We require loyalty and commitment. We should be resolute on activities that will further unite the party.
He also urged party elders on women inclusion as they remain a strong force with their numerical strength and commitments which can’t be quantified.
There was a prayer session by the people of Magaji-Nngeri Constituency for the former Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki for God’s divine guidance and actualization of his presidential aspiration of Team Rescue Nigeria.
