Salah, De Bruyne among nominees for Player of the month Award

Manchester City’s Midfielder Kevin de Bruyne and Liverpool’s striker Mohamed Salah are among eight nominees for the Premier League player of the 21/22 season award.

Both players De Bruyne and Salah are former winners of the award.

Meanwhile, Manchester City and Liverpool have two players nominated, with Joao Cancelo and Trent Alexander-Arnold also included.

West Ham winger Jarrod Bowen, Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka, Tottenham forward Son Heung-min and Southampton captain James Ward-Prowse complete the list of the 2021/2022  premier league players of the season award.

Manchester City is currently top of the Premier League, leading title rivals Liverpool by three points with two games remaining in the 2021/2022 season.

Egypt’s captain Mohamed Salah is leading the Golden Boot race with 22 goals, while Kevin De Bruyne has 15 goals and seven assists to his name this season.

Both players were on the shortlist last season, with Manchester City defender Ruben Dias winning the award.
