Professor Oba Condemns Ongoing Construction Of Tanke Flyover Bridge

Ahead of the upcoming 2023 Gubernatorial Election in Kwara State, the Governorship candidate for the New Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP, Professor Shuaib Oba AbdulRaheem has condemned the ongoing construction of the flyover bridge at Tipper Garage Area in Tanke Community.

Speaking on the program Orotonlo on RoyalFM, Professor Oba said construction of the flyover bridge around the community is irrelevant at the moment.

He criticized the inability of the current administration to use borrowed money for the betterment of the citizens, saying his ambition in politics is not to embezzle or hoard resources but to use and utilized it for the growth of the state and its inhabitants.

Commenting on the failure of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to conduct Local government election, Professor Shuaib said eradicating local government is injurious to the present generation, noting that the government contributes to the standard of living of the citizens, income generation, proper utilization of resources and effective governance.

While claiming that Governor AbdulRahman’s Government has not provided any dividends of democracy, Professor Oba vowed to reinstate local government within six months if elected the Governor of the state.
