Private School Owners Write Open Letter to Governor Abdulrazaq over Tax Burden

Private Schools owners in Kwara State under the aegis of the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools  (NAPPS ) have written an open letter to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq over the tax burden by the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KWIRS).

In the open letter, the NAPPS members disclosed that the letter is in response to the no double taxation or new tax in kwara initiative implemented by the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service.

NAPPS said, with the tax burden implemented by the KWIRS, if not checked by the state governor, will send private schools in the state packing. It added that millions of employed Nigerians in private schools may face the unemployment market if KWIRS persists with the current multiple taxation system.
