An appeal has gone to relevant authorities to prevail on grant handlers in Nigeria who have allegedly received grants from donor agencies and are yet to disburse them to do so without further delay.
Chairman, Kwara state chapter of National freedom fighter {NFF} Prince Adeleke Adewumi stated this today in Ilorin, Kwara state capital while speaking with newsmen.
According to Adeleke, the appeal became necessary following what he described as endless deceit from the grant communities by these grant handlers who are allegedly withholding grants disbursed to assist the downtrodden in Africa especially Nigeria.
” We want the international donors to look back, monitor and find out if these grants are actually disbursed or not but as am talking to you today, no grant has been disbursed in this country, so we are appealing to people in authority to help us, people are dying “.
“It is our money, the purpose of that grant is for People that are in farming to go into farming and extend, if you are into petty trading, you put this money into it and expand your business so that people can have a good life, but it is unfortunate that our leaders that took this grant, they are not doing the needful, they want to share it among themselves and we say No to fake grant handlers ” he said.
He said many of the subscribers and hopefuls have died while expecting these grants allegedly withheld by grant handlers.
Royal Times reports that National freedom fighters {NFF} in the 36 states of the federation are making the same appeal.
