Presidency says June 12 saga won’t repeat

The Presidency is assuring Nigerians that the June 12, 1993, saga won’t repeat itself.

President Muhammadu Buhari’s spokesman, Garba Shehu, said the presidential election allegedly marred by irregularities would not be annulled.

Shehu urged candidates and political parties not satisfied with the outcome of the election to approach the court.

It could be recalled that some presidential candidates had faulted the outcome of the February 25 election.

Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Peter Obi of Labour Party, LP, is not satisfied with the outcome of the presidential election.
