Police to begin screening of two hundred and ten thousand, one hundred and fifty applicants on July first

The Police Service Commission, PSC, has said that the screening of shortlisted applicants for recruitment into the constable cadre of the Nigeria Police Force will hold from Monday, the first to the twenty-eighth of July, 2019 in the thirty-six states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory.

A statement issued yesterday by the spokesperson of the PSC, Ikechukwu Ani said the Commission has the approval of Mr President to recruit ten thousand Nigerians into the Nigeria Police Force.

He said two hundred and ten thousand, one hundred and fifty successful applicants have been shortlisted for the screening exercise and letters of invitation stating venue, date, and requirements for the screening, sent to the email addresses of the applicants.

Ani added that applicants can also check for their names in the Commission’s Recruitment portal, www.psc.org.ng. He said the commission received three hundred and fifteen thousand and thirty-two applications at the close of its recruitment portal on Friday, the eleventh of January, 2019.

Chairman of the commission, Alhaji Musiliu Smith, warned the candidates against cheating, noting that anyone caught  in any criminal act will be handed over to the police for investigation and prosecution.
