Police Lift ‘Temporary’ Ban On Rally, Protest In Kwara

The police on Friday announced that the ban placed on rallies, protests and processions in Kwara state has been lifted.

Spokesman for the Nigeria Police Force in Kwara state, Ajayi Okasanmi, a Superintendent of Police,  noted in a statement made available to newsmen noted  that the temporary ban  had since achieved its purpose while adding that ‘all necessary security arrangements have been put in place across the state to forestall any security breach, now, during, and after the general election’.
