Plateau Governor debunks allegation of seeking for vice-presidential position

The Director-General (DG) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Organisation, Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State has denied claims that he lobbied to become the vice-president of the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Speaking to journalist, the Plateau Governor stated that ahead of the 2023 General Election he is interested in a senatorial position and a staunch Catholic despite his decision to accept to lead the Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket campaign.
